Our visit to Hershey Gardens September of 2013

Established in 1937, this spectacular botanical garden now covers 23 acres with breathtaking theme gardens. A member of the American Public Gardens Association, Hershey Gardens features beautiful seasonal displays, a variety of unique trees, the outdoor Butterfly House, a children’s garden and more.

One of the places we visited before was the Hershey's Famous Gardens, I think it's late Summer and early Fall that's why we don't see much blooming flowers in the garden, however there are some few left that we enjoyed seeing. The different colors and sizes of roses, and more colorful flowers that we still can enjoy.
photo not mine...this is very similar to the picture I took years ago...

The Garden is pretty big, so if you want to see every single bit of it, it's best to go early in order to fully walk the whole place. Yes, there are no rides or whatsoever, so walking in the garden as well as enjoying the beautiful scenery of different plants would be a great idea.

In there was I found sorted plants, flowers and chives. From small to big and from plain to extraordinary. It was a fun and exciting, and one of the cherished vacation my family and I will always remember, as my Mother in Law is with us to witness this amazing place and explore what else Hershey, PA could offer to us, travelers.
